1.5 DCI Horn not working

My old chaps 1.5 DCI has a very intermittent horn. A lil while ago he had to have a new ecu or whateva cintrols the wipers coz it had f**ked up. They took the steering wheel airbag cover off and dont seem to of put it back on right. If u locate it properly the horn dont work, but pull it out slightly and it works fine.



This is a problem coz its his driving school car!!!!

Sounds like they havent put it back on right and its catching on the horn sensor which goes quite far round the inside of the wheel, its fairly simple to pull off, if you look behind it youll see two metal pinns on the sides and it clips at the bottom. Pull the middle of the air bag and itll pop out then you need to get two screw drivers under the pins and push them outwards

either take it back to Renault and moan, OR BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY
