16x7 or 16x7.5 diffo (x)

hi,

may gettin some OZ hydras 16". whats the difference between a 16x7 and a 16x7.5 alloy ?? it sounds like width of alloys rather than height. does that mean different tyres for the 7.5 and is it better for more grip if its wider (like lamborghini wide ass tyres)

Well good for traction but lack of turn in, might get rubbing also? Not sure on tyre width..work out 7.5s inches into mm!

I would say above 205mm i width of the tyre to go with a 7,5" rim

I got 7" on my mk1 1.2, no scrubbage, although 12mm wider (1/2") and i would get scrubbing. I have 195s on mine btw, but will be putting 205s on next time to avoid kerbage

yea il be going wiv 205s which are standard and 7 not 7.5...

BTW anyone got OZ hydras in 16" or 17" any pictures..

Was going to go for hydras, but saw a fiesta wiht em on and they looked cack, prolly just car tho, so i wnet for titans - very happy wiht em
