172 conversion

When fitting the 172 ph1 conversion to my mk2 ph2 rsi can i use my existing dash loom and just plug in the uch,decoder etc or is their a difference in dash looms meaning i have to change the full loom aswell,havn't removed my dash yet so not sure,both are cable throttle year 2000,thanks

whatever way you do it you have to use the donor car's dash loom

so mk2 phs1 into mks phs 2 the dash loom needs swapping (it would need swapping if you were using the mk2 phs2 172 setup)

Fred,sorry i worded that wrong its going into a mk2 ph1 1.6 rsi,i just thought the dash loom would be the same and i could save some work by just plugging in the 172 uch,decoder etc

^well all the conversions that have been done have used the dash loom too, i can't remember the reason why, but you do have to use it

The simplier route is to swop the whole looms

Its for simplicity realy no other need.
