mechanic says it must have matched inlets and have been previously been mapped. as far is i know its standard. how can i find out?

Using the SHOOT_4 setup but running it set to 3rd gear? :S

i know nothing about rr mate so could you elaborate? i paid nothing for these runs its a friends new addition to his business foz sports so we were trying it out. thats why i think my readings are faulse.

you'd have to remove the plenum to check (re. your inlets question)

i dont know i will take pictures of full kit when i get to his garage at the weekend. they are second hand yes he said he got a deal he could not resist.

If it's mapped it will rev to 7800rpm usually. Does seem high for a 172, same cars ran 166 bhp max at rs tuning with more mods. Though plenum work is a bonus cos that makes the most difference on early models.

Just checked ya graph and the power does look smoothed out. Normally there's a kick at 5k. So would say it could have been mapped.
