**53 FCD, blue 172 cup just pullin out the car park i was picking up my monaco blue 1.2, kinda gave you a "oooh i want one of those" looks, also followed you through Strathblane to mugdock a couple of weeks or so ago.

That was me! I saw you just at the entrance to the car park and was wondering why you were staring at me! I think i remember you following me to mugdock as well on my sedate cruise. My 172 was in to look at the steering wheel which has split on the rubber grips for the second time. Good to see another fellow cliosporter

Well they were saying to me that they didnt think they could replace the steering wheel under warranty due to the fact it is the now the 2nd time it has happened! Im to phone them 2moro. :S

the steering wheel they fitted under warranty should have a years warranty on it... even if the cars warranty is up its warranty runs for a year from when fitted, the guy with grey spikey hair is a knob, young guy in servicing is cool and old boy mechanic (short with inverness accent) is spot on.

Yeah thats what I told them! Anyway Im phoning back 2day about it. One of them said "well we have never had any other problems with any other clio wheels!"

Just an update to let you know that they said they are going to cover it under warranty! Ive got to phone back on tues to get a time for fitting! Result!

nice one re the warranty, they always chance their luck, they'd make u pay and still claim it back from Renault, i.e. paid for twice!

Mines going in on Tuesday to get my new headlight washer fitted, better not scratch anything, its a bumper off job.

Ive been to one meet in just over a year which was at braehead. Were you not there rory? Anyway i'll def try and get along to the next one if I have some better luck!
