172 Cup mini-mods (56k no)

Been gradually buying a few bits and pieces for my Cup over the past few weeks (had it since May 15th), new mats, new bulbs, ITG panel filter etc. Few pics here...

Collection day, note lack of splitter and original orange bulbs...

New Cup 172 boot mat with Renault Cargo net, arrived from JustMatz a few days ago...

Cup 172 front mats (also got new rear mats), car came with Williams mats and I kept slipping on the metal plate so I got them out quick.

As it stands today, K-Tec Carbon Splitter added (by myself at ground level, hugely fun that was!), and not forgetting the lovely blue Richbrook tax disc holder with Clio logo supplied by my other half!

A few changes without adding to the weight to any great extent. Currently trying to figure out a method of track-day prepping it whilst still keeping it remotely practical and comfortable for my daily commute (I cant afford two cars), not keen on coilovers as I have no choice but to negotiate loads of speed humps 4 times every day. New seats are 100% cert though as the standard ones are falling apart already (its only on 11k!), probably get some nice Corbeau recliners.

im on coilovers and can get over speed bumps. go on you know you want to. the H&R kit is actually a smoother ride than the std set-up. Other than that looking good fella.

coilovers boyo
Seats are more important at the moment, no point spending out on some cheap coilovers now to improve the look (to those who like the slammed look, Im not bothered) as Im not tracking it until next year, cant be dealing with a low car for my commute anyway until I can afford a decent set up (H&R).

Im sure its more than capable enough standard anyway considering 7 weeks ago the biggest engine I had driven was 1196cc, Im not exactly going to be stretching it on the track for quite some time ;)

  Weeman sucks ****

Ive got the H&Rs on my cup and the ride is much better than the standard shocks & springs. imo coilovers and seats are probably the best 2 mods you can do to this car, its just a case of which one you do first but personally Id go for the coilovers first.
