172 Seats - Good or Bad

Just recently bought a 172 Cup and was thinking about changing the 2 front seats to something abit more deeper

The standard seats are alright, but we were pondering the thought of Recaro like style. Anybody changed theirs? Pics? Got a couple of prices from XS Motorport in Glasgow (Hamilton), but they wanted mega bucks, so we decided (MAC30L and I), to ask a few questions 1st. Your thoughts appreciated.

The standard seats are ok for fast road driving, but Ive done two trackdays in a 172 and one in my Cup know, and the seats do not hold you in well enough on the track!

A few people have changed the seats in their Cups & 172s and there is a lot of choice...

Personally, Id go for some good recliners rather than fixed buckets, so you can still use the rear seats and have the adjustement as it is still a road car at the end of the day! Have had fixed buckets & harnesses before and unless it was a track specific car Id rather have recliners.

Check the gallery for pics, and Im sure peeps will post up their own pics soon... :)
