I'm thinking of Either just Buying some OE Pads for my 182 as my OE Disks are still in Good Condition or Upgrading as I will be doing more Track Days :D
SO
Can people please put links up to the Cheapest place to Buy Brembo Max, Brembo HC Disks other recomendations and some Decent Pads i.e. Ferode DS2500, Pagid Blue's etc.

Thanks
Andy

Try GSF... they seemed to offer the best price for Brembo Max discs when i was looking around, mention your a member on here they usually give a decent discount

yozzasport are quite competitive, discs dont make too much off a diff. but DS2000 are good or greenstufff depending on budget.

I'm probably being Dumb but I'm struggling to see Brembe Disks for a 182 on GSF Car Parts, can someone tell me the correct code from the List

  Clio 172 Cup
i think they are only sold by GSF through ebay i dont think that they sell them as an over the counter product

  a thirsty one
i went and picked up a set of brembo hc front discs for my 182 direct from gsf they even had them in stock, total cost was £55 for the pair and thats was without any discount over the counter i just called in on my way home from work to see what they had.

also some uprated mintex fast road pads for £23, not my usual choice of fast road pad but for that money and in stock i figured why not.

i would say go for brembo high carbon disks and ferodo ds2500 pads you can use the Brembo Max disk but with the ds2500 pads they wont last long i would give Andrew at yozzasport a call and tell him what you want and what you are going to do with your car he will tell you the best setup for your car he is also one of the cheapest places around for that sort of brake setup

  a thirsty one
i picked up my stainless steel hoses for £49 from hose solutions and used opie oils for brake fluid.

if you live near gsf you cant beat their £55 for brembo hc discs but for some ds2500's yozza does seem very good value for money, save even more by getting your brake fluid from him as well save on p+p.

  Monaco Blue 172 (56/468)
brembo hc discs + ferodo ds2500 pads + braided lines are awesome, got mine fitted last week and i couldnt recommend that setup highly enough

  4 wheels
i think im gonna get green stuff brembo discs and braided lines because imo the standard brakes on my car are truly w**k. i think the got knackerd by the previous owner

  4 wheels
thats what people reccomend though im poor and have got a service to pay for aswell or id get them aswell

Havent read the whole thread BUT... Ive just come back from the ring and I was running Pagid blues on OE discs with HEL braided hoses. MY GOD!!!

AWESOME!! Discs are fine and I lit them up a few times. Needless to say I will need new discs soonish.

No need to upgrade discs imo.

i retract my previous point about mintex pads, after 3 months finally managed to get a few free hours on a country road and they suck.

they faded prob only a few corners after my originals would have, think im going to have to put my money where mouth is and get some ferodo ds2500 before a track day coming up later in year. those mintex were cheap for a reason.
