Black Gold Trophy
Just refurbed a set of wheels in my garage using rattle cans, filled and sanded all the curb marks with isopon filler, primed with acid etch 1k primer, used some halfords gloss black for the base coat, then used Pro-xl 2k lacquer.
The wheels have had just short of a week to dry and harden properly, but the lacquer still has a slight tack to it, ie: if you press hard with your fingers it makes an imprint.
I definitely released the hardener into the lacquer before applying it, you have to pull a ring on the bottom of the can and twist it to release the hardening agent.
Any experienced sprayers have an idea what might be happening or how I can sort it?
