20vKarlos' - Renault Clio 172 - Track Car Project - Possible Disaster

2018 HUGE UPDATE!
Part 1

Right guys, so in December work started to die down and I was able to do a little to the car, however, my enthusiasm died as it was freezing down the unit and it just began getting harder to push myself to go down there.

Work was really quiet in January still, so I was working rather long hours to earn my wages and I just wasn’t able to get down the unit at all, so I started to think the project just wouldn’t get finished.

Well after ordering a few parts and making a list of things I needed to get done, I set myself one day or evening a week where I’d just do CAR STUFF.

The list consisted of, but wasn’t limited to...
|
V
Reposition RARB Brackets
Buy & install poly exhaust mount insert
Buy & install poly engine mount insert
Wrap interior wiring
Re-install wiring
Dull dash (to reduce glare)
Setup harnesses
Buy parts and service the car
Remove aircon maybe?
Fit quick release bumper pin (one is done)
Buy & install Camber bolts
Buy & install door cards?? Hmm, maybe?
N/S headlight modification
Buy exhaust OR a silencer (I think it’s too loud)
Buy resistor for Carbon canister

So I got started on one thing, then moved to the next, then the next!
My attention span recently has been very short and I’ve been getting bored VERY easily. I think it’s because the jobs that remain are the most tedious, who knows... but let’s get cracking!!

So, I started in the engine bay as I needed to change the spark plugs over. Then a mate of mine said ‘REMOVE THE AIRCON RAD & PIPEWORK’... ah sod it... So I did!

AFE0E583-7498-4929-8E3C-665A81F7F850.jpeg

Then I moved onto the spark plugs...
I got the throttle body off and gave that a thorough clean.
I also had the inlet off, so gave that a thorough clean out and the crap that came out of that was quite surprising to be honest.

EBB7AF8A-7176-4F84-B1E8-8368618E2AEB.jpeg

Then finally got to the job I was going to do, which was change the spark plugs over.

E8A0904C-97B9-4EB5-B655-2D45424AB995.jpeg

Once this was done, I got the poly engine mount insert into place.

** I’ve gone with a Yellow insert for now, as I want to see how aggressive this mount is going to be, however it’ll most likely be changed to black series**

5E1313F7-B756-4312-B8AA-41D6D125104F.jpeg

So, with the engine bay pretty much where I want it, I moved onto other areas of the car

Creating a lot of mess along my way round!!!

I will be back with more updates soon

Thanks all

February Update...

Well, February has been great... NOT!!
Well, it has for the Clio, but not the Superb!!

On the 11th I hit a crater and I got taken to the unit like this...
B34BC1C9-FC5E-492F-8C60-91CA9EA84DD4.jpeg

With be total honesty, the recovery lad was bloody quick to arrive.
I’d reported the puncture at 02:55am
I then got recovered to the unit in the next town, changed to my full size spare myself and then driven home by 04:30 that morning.

Here’s the crater :rage:
Believe it or not, I travel this road to and from work EVERYDAY...
This hole was filled in 3 days before this photo.
Whilst I was taking this photo, A lady came out to me and told me that they’d only filled the hole in 5 nights ago and that the workmen had used their van to ‘roll in’ the tarmac 😂

We then had a. Assive freeze and a quick thaw and it ended up like this very quickly.

20DAF354-EC22-4C10-904F-2099BFC766F0.jpeg

Then.... exactly two weeks later... no photos with this one... but I hit a huge ‘item’ in the road, drivers side this time!
So, this month has now been eaten up with tyres for the Superb!!

That said, I’ve done a few things with the car this month.

Firstly, I cut the N/S headlamp out so I could make my budget blank.
I’ve not cut the holes yet as a mate of mine has the hole saw/drill bits
That’ll happen this week, then paint

628FA85D-BB60-463A-A0FB-0AF70CFF5957.jpeg

I’ve also had the interior loom back out, wrapped it up in electrical tape, something I DID NOT want to do.
The non sticky “Loom tape” that you can buy, is really expensive.
You’ll also see that I’ve sprayed the top of the dash with a dusting of black paint.
This should hopefully dull down any glare from shiny bits.
Loom is now back in

15575A6C-416A-433C-AF76-9E84C2C2A90A.jpeg

I’ve also received my powerflex exhaust mount insert, more on this in the next update, plus camber bolts.
I bought the camber bolts as an impulse and I’ve no idea if I’ve bought the correct ones or not
Please advise if not.

DD3F68F5-6EFF-4FB4-9D7F-AC5ABA7C7BEE.jpeg

Last but not least... my door card set arrived last week

Whilst I’m rather happy with the way they look, for £130 I guess I expected them to be slightly better quality.
I married up the drivers side and it needs fettling to get it to sit right, also I still need to purchase the door latch extensions, something that doesn’t come with the kit, but is needed to make them fit snug I should think, something I wasn’t aware of.
However, they come with a comprehensive set of DESTRUCTIONS 😂

Once they’re fitted I may have a different verdict, I hope so :D
414039DF-1738-4C67-BDFF-FFF45A6256AF.jpeg

Well, later this evening I SHOULD get down there to get these fully fitted, but for now... it’s bed time

Thanks for looking

  RS 172
This is was great fun to read! Looking forward to seeing where it all goes.

Makes me want to get cracking with my project, it's still way too cold... 😂

Quick update...

I popped down to the unit earlier to swap over the punctured wheel on the Superb.

I’d forgotten to take the heater control panel for the Clio with me, but I wanted to run the car for as long as possible to see whether the fan would cut in.

After doing a few temperature readings on the Radiator and the inlet/outlet pipework the car was still too cold to really know whether the fan was working or not.

If anyone has any hints and tips to see if it’s wirking, I’d be grateful

More updates to come later this week, but snow has stopped play for a couple of days.

Thanks all

Karlos

Afternoon all

Just trying to keep up with this thread now.
i know I’ve not kept up with the coatings of everything, nor has everything that I’ve done to the car been documented in here, but hopefully soon the car will be out for its first track session and then I can make more quality upgrades from there.

I’ve booked the car into my local Kwik-Fit for alignment and camber setup.
If you have any good tips, tricks or have what works best for a dedicated track setup, please let me know.

So I pulled the car out of the unit today, all on its own steam:smile:

You’ll see that I’ve stuck the powerflex & Ferodo stickers on the car.
These are temporary as the rear badges were rubbish and had to go, botnonly that, I’m hoping that I can purchase a Fibreglass rear end at some point soon.

It’s also on stilts still!!!
Now that it’s been outside, I MUST order a set of cooksports as it’s just annoying me way too much!

CDC11C07-EB6D-4E9C-BBD6-DB5F1A9C9AEA.jpeg

On another note, the new tyres are now on the Superb
Rubbish picture but you catch my drift

More updates to come
Next one will most likely be on Monday

Thanks all

Another small update

Popped down to the Unit tonight for a few hours to sort a few niggly bits out

A couple of weeks back, I butchered this headlight so that I could use it as an air feed
Tonight, I went for it straight into cutting the holes, no measuring as I’m not bothered about the appearance.

It’s been painted black and I’ll fit it later in the week

B077C672-9039-460F-A609-129306BB2FF2.jpeg

I then moved onto the door cards.
I was and finally able to use my drill tonight, as I’m usually down the unit at silly o’clock in the morning, but tonight I wanted to get them finished.

So, drivers side finished...
It’s not perfect as I’d cut two holes at a slight angle by mistake and it messed up how it sat on the door.

E6DB0DA8-30AB-4D85-AC77-C190B1EC6CC1.jpeg

9B50CD84-DDFA-462D-ACAA-D4E02FE41652.jpeg

Then, after I’d done the first one, I knew what the hard(awkward) bits were, so came up with a plan
I mounted the door pull then tied string to it, looped the string over the top of the door and looped the other end around the door handle.
This meant that it would hold the door car pretty much exactly in the right place...less of a ball ache.

295D2CFB-842E-43AA-BD68-190D0E41A6D8.jpeg

I also figured out, that the supplied hardware would work with a 9mm hole and it didn’t have to be 9.5mm.
Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but when you have a shed load of drill bits and none of them are 9.5, you don’t really want to buy another one.

So, the below method (pictured below) works really well, here’s why.
If you try to push the black part in separately, it’ll distort and become impossible to get through to the second skin on the door.
(This is really hard to explain to this exhaust that have never tried it)
But having the screw in place slightly and holding the screw with the pliers, when it gets to the second skin, a little wiggle of the pliers doesn’t distort the rubber and it’s in place.

Fitter the switch that I received from @Mk2dillon

F34C1FD5-95AB-4698-828B-BAA986E780BC.jpeg

End result

You’ll I notice that I have a screw missing.
This was completely my fault.
I’d pushed in the rubber nut part and it completely dissappeared 🙈 😂

First track day is next Monday 12th March 18
I am anticipating some teething problems but I’m not sure what to expect from a car that’s been sat in my unit for a year!

There are a few parts that I’d wanted fitted before my first track session
- Ktec or PMS Exhaust
- Cooksport Springs
I’m in talks with a couple of forum users but it’s been a slow process due to weather recently

What MUSTbe done still?
- Fit camber bolts
- fit headlight blank
- nuts and bolts check
- insert Sound deadening into exhaust and make a cover 😂
- Hunter alignment on Friday
- Wash??

Thanks again all

The update I’ve been waiting to make since purchase day!!

Errm...where do I start...
well, after a lot of prep work over the last few months, the car was ready for a track day!
There are still bits to sort with the car but they’ll all be done in time.

So, Sunday afternoon/evening I picked up the trailer and headed to the unit.
Loaded the car and due to it raining and being dark, I went to Tesco car park to double check all of the straps.

Here’s my novice Instagram edit.

FED36989-BDA4-400F-BEBC-5CD3D6587727.jpeg

We set off early doors on Monday morning, so that we could get to Bedford.
We arrived and just as I was un-loading the car, I began to s**t myself!🙈
I’d been telling myself for weeks that the car was too loud.
However, my mate said to try sound testing without any exhaust fettling.... So I did....
The examiner says “it’s fluctuating between 87db and 90db”

:up::smiley::up:

Well, we went out for siting laps and all was great with the car.
The track was very wet and in places, with large puddles, but the car seemed great!

97644456-6BE1-4D15-8452-3382D0165C7C.jpeg

As they say... “All good things must come to an end”
Well, just as I was starting to get a little more confident in the car, I spun twice in one lap.
So I was baffled, asking myself questions

Am I pushing too hard?
Are the tyres over inflated?
Wait...What’s that smell? Burning?

So I went back to the pits and as it was lunch, I drove round to the car park...
This happened

Power steering shat itself!
I’m not sure where it was leaking and quite frankly I didn’t care!
I’d had so much fun that morning and I now knew that the car was running well enough to carry on with modifications! :smirk:
There was no way I was going to bodge anything around a PAS pipe,
So I made the executive decision and loaded the car onto the trailer again, and made my way home

I know I wasn’t straight 😂

What’s next?
Well I’m not sure...
I could try and fix the issue (not investigated yet)
I could go EPAS, but I find this daunting with all the wiring
What are my other options

I’ve got Cooksport’s here ready to go on.
a sunstrip
I may do another headlight blank, I quite like the black and silver

Thanks for reading and I hope you’ve enjoyed it this far

EPAS guide attached, I'll pull mine off this weekend and get you a postage cost, shouldn't be to bad without the 182 cup arms.

Epas is a fiddle, wiring is as basic as you can get

I’ve heard it’s a bit of a ball ache... but needs doing I reckon

EPAS guide attached, I'll pull mine off this weekend and get you a postage cost, shouldn't be to bad without the 182 cup arms.

Thanks JB, I’ll certainly be following a guide! I wouldn’t know where to start 😂

Is the epas realy an option? Heard thats not working very fine :/

Not sure what you mean mate?

If you decide to stick with PAS and it turns out to be the pump, they're not cheap (i know because mine went last year).

I don’t want to stick with PAS as I hear many people have issues with it

Just finished reading this thread been an awesome read and you're local aswell , hope you manage to get the power steering issue sorted and hopefully it turns out to be something silly and not serious.

Well, with my PAS fluid still at Bedford, I reckon it’s half serious. 😂
Also from my point of view is, if PAS is broken and it’s expensive to fix (which it is) I might as well upgrade it to EPAS.

Glad to see a local forum member too

Thanks for all of the comments gents, I’ll be doing a fair bit more over the coming weeks

if its only leaking I would just patch it up, for now and maybe just replace pipework?
Mine boils on track days and spits our over the engine bay- just clean it up and have bottle fluid with me

But mines a cheaper version than yours :tonguewink:
Looks great- BHP Lydden (Intermediate) _ May 7th

It needs investigating, I took it back to the unit first thing Tuesday morning and abandoned it 😂

Once I’ve had a good look at what’s causing the issue, I will move forward with a fix. I’m not holding my breath as fluid was absolutely everywhere :grimacing:

honestly it's dead easy to do.

Erm... I’m glad you think so 😂... I’m glad there’s a guide to be honest, but I’ll still find a way to mess it up 🙈

It’s great to learn all this stuff and I’m genuinely enjoying doing it all, but each task gets a little more technical and seems really daunting. However, I know that once I’ve tackled a task and completed it, they each come with a reward... a working car :grinning:

Good evening all...

As you can see... ive done bugger all for a while..

No amazing excuses here, I’ve just been busy at work and funds have been tied up elsewhere.

That was until @Akay decided he was going to raid my bank account and when I confronted him about it... he sent me some parts as a good will gesture ?.... ok, that’s not strictly true... but it was painful ?

However.... this lost was the outcome

Front poly Windows
I’m actually really surprised at how heavy these are.. but still I’ll save weight in removing a lot of the window components ?

PMS Strut Brace

And top mounts...

And the only thing I’d actually set out to purchase since April ???

EPAS setup

The poly windows have these included... I’m guessing it’s the locking mechanism ?

Also bought a link pipe and blanks from @Sonic Boom (nicked his picture too ? )

BB1FCE92-22BB-4905-856D-45581E5A41F5.jpeg

Plus, the biggest one yet is that I have also purchased the PMS AC Delete and PMS PAS Delete kits from @Matt555

9100AFDB-883B-4675-A89E-B23F2FA6D325.jpeg

So that’s all the things I’ve purchased recently...

Whats on the purchase list?
- rear quarter poly windows
- Fibreglass Boot
- Rear thermoformed poly Screen (same time as boot)
- Fibreglass Bonnet
- Roof Scoop
- T7 Race Heater
- Cage

?
I’ll be back shortly to update you all on the very small progress I made yesterday.

So...

Yesterday I had an a couple of hours down the lock up and the majority of it was spent putting things away and sorting out stuff... well after all that boring stuff, I jumped straight into getting stuff done on the car, so not many pictures.

Firstly, the obvious were removed for access/safety
- Bumper & Grille off
- Drivers Headlight out
- Slam panel off
- Battery Disconnected

I then set about getting things removed but as this was a first for me... I was shitting myself ?...
Plus, I’ve always had this “THING”about electronics and anything to do with wiring... and alternators are on that list of “THINGS”!
Don’t ask me why, but I can’t help but think it’s all there to kill me!! Did I say I hate electronics already???

I’m listing this stuff below because I’d like to know that what I’m doing is correct or catastrophically wrong ?

So....
I put my jack underneath and supported the weight of the engine.
Loosened off the engine mount.
Loosened off what I believe to be the Aux Belt Tensioner (Spring looking thing)
Belt now loose
Disconnected the wires on the Alternator.
** The red wire was very corroded, and the connector just fell apart. (new connector needed)
Loosened off the Alternator
Took Alternator off (Needed a large tug and it came off)
Loosened off the AC Compressor *I think that’s what it is called* ?

Then I had to call it a day as the wife called to let me know she was dishing out dinner.

But here’s the only photos I’ve got, mainly for the questions I’ve got...

The red wire

AC Compressor/Pump?
3F7FE342-DE66-40DA-BD1E-32126524E67B.jpeg

Below I’ve circled a bracket/massive chunk of metal that I THINK needs removing? Correct?
I have taken the bolt out where the red shading is too. But I’m guessing I need to do more removal work on the pulley side first before it’ll come away?.
618FBDEA-BEBC-4AB3-BA33-A63422443E62.jpeg

As you can see in this photo, all of that power steering fluid that decided it didn’t want to be in the pipes anymore is all over the belt.

FD5D7F97-CF8A-427C-970F-F3A4FCA4258D.jpeg

I took the below photo as I wasn’t sure whether I needed to remove this pulley or whether it comes straight off with the above bracket that was holding the AC Pump and Alternator. I’ll remove it when I next go down anyway

Is there anything I need to look out for?
Something small that may break etc?

EE411A66-911C-4295-9B3F-B5972D1970DD.jpeg

So... that’s where I’ve got to.

I’ll be taking plenty of photos from this point onwards for two reasons
1) posting in here
2) for reference in case I f**k it up and have to put something back together ?

Maybe that bracket thing doesn’t come off? Maybe I have no idea what I’m doing ? or maybe I’ve fucked it already ?

One of my questions to you lovely lot is this....
I’ve got a T7 Mini Race Heater planned for the car.
Do I remove the current Radiator and all the pipework and the heater now? or wait until I’ve got the EPAS fitted and go at everything working?

I’ll replace the radiator with a Direnza one if people recommend I do so. The original is to in a great way at the bottom

I’ll do some more searching over the next week

Thanks for reading

Wtf happened there? Can a mod clean my shyte up please?

????

You need to remove that "bracket/massive chunk of metal" and the power steering pump but keep the power steering pump bracket ?

FYI, PMS have instructions on their products pages.... http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/me...te_kit_instructions_with_standard_pulleys.pdf

Yep, found them yesterday after a brief search. Plus the EPAS guide... I ‘Should’ be alright!

We’ll see ?

Good evening all

I popped down to the unit this afternoon to pick up my standard wheels as I’d sold them on eBay.
I had no intention of getting dirty but I just couldn’t help myself ?
So I told SWMBO that I’d be home by 17:30 as I’d just got stuck in...

So, started like this...

F2C2D254-1B9F-4DBF-AE1D-3CA3D2C7AE3E.jpeg

Then I realised that I might as well get rid of this old radiator as it really is past it’s best!
Plus I’ve got plans to put a small race heater into the car and take the remainder of the heating system out of the car in the coming weeks.
I might as well do it in one go right? ??

That also meant, finding a coolant drain ??
Where is it!?
Anyway, I pulled a pipe and drained the coolant with a great ratio of 70:30!

70 PERCENT ON THE FLOOR! ????
30 PERCENT ACTUALLY IN THE CONTAINER! ??‍♂️??‍♂️

So the Radiator came off, access is a dream now! ??

Here’s after i cleaned up ?

A232F6AC-5954-47A4-AE18-584FB475CC3A.jpeg

So after I’d pulled off the majority of the pipes and cleaned up, it was time to get rid of all the crap in the way of me fitting my PAS & AC delete parts fitted

I then got carried away and took the rest of the parts off the car.

DA29071D-500B-43E2-B67D-44C770BABD77.jpeg

I then gave the engine a very quick de-greasing

8E94988C-1C77-4F2A-BFEA-654076A39B1C.jpeg

I also tried to undo/disconnect these two heater pipes, but I didn’t want to snap them with brute force, so if one of you kind Gents can let me know how they come off, that would be great.

D389898D-08B0-43FD-B424-A7DE793194C1.jpeg

Here’s how I left the car...

EF3BB5B5-6D61-4040-B69F-B2E8F4D2185F.jpeg

So, parts to purchase now (? I’m so bad at this BUDGET ‘Thing’)
  • Radiator
  • Pipework and fasteners
  • Coolant
  • Race Heater & Pipework
  • Battery relocation kit? (Maybe)

What’s left to remove?
  • Heater pipes at the bulkhead
  • Heater matrix
  • Heater controls and loom tuck (loom isn’t getting chopped further)
  • All heater/AC parts under the scuttle panel

I’ve got my work cut out over the next few weeks, but hopefully it’ll be running after my holiday in July ✋?
I’m in no rush to sort it, it would certainly be nice to use it a few more times this year, but I’m just glad that I’m learning how to do stuff to it!

Thanks for reading all

There’s more!!!

Well I went to the unit today with a clear head and went straight to the Coolsnt pipes... gave them a good wiggle and some help from a flat head screwdriver pushing the tabs, they both popped straight off ??

So put some rag into the pipes and started on the scuttle panel.

Removed the wipers
Removed the scuttle
Removed the small bulkhead
Then the fun started with the heather gubins!

I started by disconnecting the wires and it quickly dawned on my that I was going to kill my legs if I continued to smash them on the slam panel... this REALLY expensive underlay came in handy ??

I’d got, what I thought was all but one screw out... this one was a ball ache! But I eventually removed it!!
I took the below picture as a “YAY, it’s out” moment!
The fan was removed and Then I tried to pull the the top section off... OH MAN! THERES ANOTHER ONE ??
This one was “Rusty” to say the least! It was on the back side and access was horrendous!
Long story’s short... I got pissed off!
A shame really, as I was so methodical all this time and the dismantling this far was going so well...

The one I though was the last one!

The fan removed

This is where I got annoyed with myself... it was frustrating and I just ripped the lot out ??

Then it was empty in there ??

Tidied up the scuttle

So... where does that leave us....

There’s more to follow ?

Back shortly

I then moved onto the interior

Firstly, I removed the clocks and the heater control panel

I then moved onto the steering wheel removal

Squib and all othe accessories removed from the steering column.

The only thing holding the steering rack in place, is the locking pin on the exterior of the bulkhead!

So...

We are now ready for the car to be jacked up and put on stands.
Then the pin to be removed from the column

Whats next?
- Jack the car up and get it on stands
- Remove the steering column
- Loop and blank steering rack
- Fit top mounts
- Fit Cooksport springs
- Fit camber bolts
- Fit all EPAS setup (Column, controller etc)
- Fit Strut brace

What needs purchasing?
- Radiator (Standard)
- Race heater & Fittings (T7 Design thanks to all of the help from @JB21 )
- Silicone Coolant pipes (I think I’ll be using MTC pipes)
- Coolant (what do I buy??)
- Blanking plate for the hole in the bulkhead

That’s us up to date

I’ll be back soon with another update

Thanks all

I say type D as I use it, and so many others on here do too. I’ve never had any issues with it. And I like the colour

Very small update this one....

Whilst it may seem like I’ve done nothing for a week..... that is very true ???

I’ve been so busy with work this week due the the Tennis in Eastbourne it’s been impossible for me to get to the unit and do anything...

So I popped in on Thursday evening for an hour and managed to get 4 blanking screws fitted ?

Firstly, the access here is stupidly tight! I don’t have any special sockets to fit around pipes, so it was the good old fashioned spanner method.

You’ll need to remove Two at 17mm, one at 19mm and the other at 21mm (I think!)
Then these blanking screws are Two at Allen/Torx, one at 19mm I think... and the last one at 23mm

To have them fit correctly, I needed to fit the 23mm first with a socket.
Then the 19mm with a spanner, however, the 23mm and 19mm kept on clashing, so I had to get creative!

I got there in the end ??

I’ve not yet removed the remainder of the pipework, that’ll get done the next time I’m down there.
Plus there is a LOT to get fitted to the car now and I’m so close to being able to fit it all ?

Parts that are being ordered next...
- T7 Design mini race style heater
- MTC Coolant hoses
- Ash pipes 90° silicone bend x2
- Silicone length 12mm ID (to reach from heater to coolant pipes x2)
- 2x Straight Brass links
- 2x 90° Barbed brass links <<—- struggling to find these!
- Replacement Radiator
- coolant

Plus anything else I’ve forgotten or that tickles my fancy

Great read mate! Looking good. Also just followed your build on insta (Y)

Thank you mate... followed back too.
Hopefully soon I’ll be back to my normal work schedule and have a little longer on the car.

Small update...
The rack is now completely looped and I’ve got the column completely out also.

Here’s how the car sits currently...

A complete mess of a workshop right now! But I do t get long enough to work on the car and keep the place tidy ??

Tidying will happen once the car gets rolled outside in a couple of weeks time ??

All but a few of the parts listed above have been ordered, with acception of the radiator, coolant and ducting. Most of what’s been ordered should arrive tomorrow.

I’m awaiting a members response on a couple of things, so things are stepping in the right direction.

Hope to be out near the end of July, but we’ll see ??

Thanks all

Another small update...

Parts have started to arrive for the race heater setup.

I’ve not got a decent picture of the race heater yet as I was more concerned about the fact that the paint seems to not like being attached to surfaces ?

Few more bits to arrive and then it’ll all get fitted ?

Thanks all

I’m not sure it’s balls of steel mate. I’d say more stupidity ??

Thank you for the kind words mate, I was starting to think I had very few people following this build, but I guess it’s such a massive learning curve for us all, it’s important to share the good, bad and damn right ugly parts to the build process.

I’ve loved every minute of it so far and I I’ve challenged myself a fair bit with it too which has been great. Learning so much along the way
