Alpine Stalk/Display interface fitted.

Fitted this last week to the 9833!

Works a treat, basic display is replicated on the OE screen.

Stalk control works too.

Dont show if traffic is on or anything else but the real cool thing is the fact you dont have to take the dash off like the old days.

Part numbers are KWE-942 and KCE 940b

Would post pics but its not that interesing.

Just plugs into the yellow mini iso connector and takes a power feed from the remote lead on the HU.

Soo easy.

Nice one, I have the 9833 out of my old car waiting to go in the 182 when it arrives, need to get hold of those and an ipod adapter and its ready to go it.

Good work but Nasty price

I got mine from CAD for £34 (Delivered)for both bits, took 2 mins to fit but there are so many bloody wires the head unit was hard to get back in!

Id like to see pics if poss. of the display.

do the steering wheel buttons all work as normal, or is there funstion altered in any way, ie. can you change form radio to CD, songs backwards and forwards etc.

How hard was it to get the feed from the battery throught to it ?

Do the buttons work properly, I seem to remember with the old alpine lead that some didnt, you couldnt skip tracks backwards or something?

The buttons have slighlty different functions.

But thats no bad thing
