Anyone fitted the Renaultsport alu gear knob to a 182?

I'm talking about the official renaultsport one, as fitted to the V6 255.

How easy is it to get the old one off and new one on? Guessing as with most french cars you just pull it and it falls off? :rasp:

Standard 'knob is a crap shape and looks cheap IMO
