Banging under heavy braking

I fitted new suspension, top mounts etc to my 172 and now under extremely heavy braking there is a loud bang and the car jolts forwards.

I fitted the shocks together with spring compressors on to ensure they were tight and the top mount bolts is nipped up also. Two bottom bolts are tighten with air gun when car was tracked so they are tight.

I did not have the problem with my old coilovers fitted. Although the top hat that fits in the bottom half of the top mount has movement in it?

Any ideas?

I have the exact opposite problem to you, only with a bed I just bought.
