Glad that everything went OK at Bram mate, strange that it's still pulling to the left, could maybe to do with the camber of the road?

Does it scrape now, looks really low? If anything, I'd just raise the back a touch for a bit more rake.

It's doing it everywhere annoyingly. Wheel sat straight and it goes left. Tested on motorway, straight roads etc and it's the same. I had similar when I had those cambered spacers on the back but you can see how straight the rear is now so it should be fine.

I only scrape on full lock very occasionally but it's only touching on where the lining bulges. I'm quite happy with the height, rear can't really go higher as there's no inbetween. Either that or I stack 2 rubber pads on top of each other.
Can see the rake most in this photo

On some of the hilly wales roads my front did scrape, but to be expected!

That's weird, can't be to do with the alignment then? I'm sure Brad will be able to have a poke around and see if he can find anything though.

Yeh, looks spot on in that pic. It's like my car, sometimes I think it sits bang on then most of the time I'm not happy with it, hence the want for them Cooksports haha.

I'm not sure. If I get it rechecked and it's still all spot on then it must be something else. Like I say sliders were all changed and greased up last year and id given them a wiggle recently and seemed like they were free. Front bearings have also been changed alongside wishbone bushes so won't be that.
There's not too much left really that it could be other than alignment .

Haha yeah I get what you mean. As it stands it's the same rear as marks running (adjusters removed) unless he's also running double rubbers 😂

Ill pop over to yours Saturday if you're about? I'll message you

Alignment looks bang on! One of the straightest i've seen.

How are your tie rods and ends and rack bushes?
Daniel told me to check my rack bushes so I'll do that on Saturday morning, unless I can do it without axle stands?
Tie rods and tres were changed around 4 months ago

Usually get signs of wandering steering if it's rack bushes tbh.

Is the steering nice a tight/precise, just that it's pulling to the left?
I think so! I've nothing else to compare it to. Often want someone else to give it a drive to compare to their own car!

Ill get brad to maybe have a look at them. I doubt they've ever been changed in 127,000 miles

Well I went over to Bram and it was as simple as the steering wheel just not being perfectly straight when it was tracked up.
Brad readjusted it and it's great now, steering wheel actually points in the direction i want to go :)

Thought it was about time I gave the car a clean as it was absolutely horrendous after the journey back from Wales.

The sister bought me some Auto finesse stuff for christmas so I gave it a go and I was pretty impressed with the shampoo! Brought up the car really well considering how bad it was. It's still fairly suddy in these photos, but it lathered up loads!

I then spent some time using some Autoglym interior shampoo and vacuuming out all the footwells as it had gotten fairly bad after all the travelling and mucky feet.

I need to finish off my scenic shifter so I can get it fitted then maybe look for a smaller steering wheel as i'm still not a fan of the 'retrimmed' wheel a previous owner did. I coated the car in Poorboys black hole then tried some autofinesse spray wax but by this point it was pitch black so didn't get chance for photos :(

Soon. I've been eyeing up a 350mm one, but I don't know if it'll be too large. I want a sparco suede renaultsport wheel but cannot justify that price.

This looks better and better everytime you post some photos @Louis great stuff.......... reading what you've been using, didn't get this kit did you?

I used the shampoo and spray wax for the first time yesterday, very pleased with the results also!

As for the steering wheel, I agree with the above, 330mm is an ideal size IMO but if you want black and suede, what about the Sparco one I have as an alternative to the Renault Sport one? The suede actually suits the colour of the seat fabric better than this photo shows;

Haha, it was Yeah! From Halfords I believe when they were trialling the auto finesse stuff? I didn't try the all in one polish but might be decent if the other two are anything to go by.

Your interior looks great now Steve! With the PMS shifter it finishes it off nicely to be OEM+, I'd read you had that rattle but hope your elastic band fix stops it ;) you happy? Sometimes you feel like you should be just because you spent so much money or time doing something but then you're not really if that makes sense haha.

What steering wheel is that? 330mm?

Cheers mate! Yes I'm really happy with the interior now, all looks spot on just as I want it  you're right tho, when you really look forward to something getting fitted and then you're not happy, so frustrating! The rattle is a good example of this! But hopefully my little bodge will help the issue. That's my thing, I like the upgrade parts but don't want added noise or to loose any comfort 😂

The steering wheel I got from Demon Tweeks, yes 330mm and black suede. I just think the centre horn push finishes it off, not so keen on the flat middle on the Sabelt personally, looks like something is missing!

I'm the opposite, I really like the flat middle Haha! I might have to compromise and get one with a horn.

Looks shiner every time you wash it Louis. Did you hit it with the da yet?
I gave the bonnet a going over before I fitted it, but the rest of the car I did way before Christmas. I was going to do it yesterday but got carried away doing the interior then it was too late. It's changed a fair bit since csf :)
I should have come to yours and you could have done mine as well
:mask: would have been 11pm before I got in

Cheers mate! Appreciate the kind words. Not sure if there's going to be any meets soon? @rv

As said on WhatsApp. Looks great. You'll 100% regret a 350mm wheel and I'm posting this to requote when you buy and change your mind a week later.
Thanks again ;)
Yeah I know you're right. Was looking at the oreca turnone ones yesterday

Good choice, I know a guy with a sexy haircut who's got one and he likes looking at it as the car isn't mobile.

If I got one I would change the yellow band. Might lasercut one of those button plates with an engraved fake horn. Similar to this but might even turn a steel one and spray it... Not sure yet. I'm just not a fan of the horns!
