What guns and perks etc do people use on this then??

I want a set-up that doesn't feel like im stuck in mud the whole time.

Ive tried extreme conditioning with a UMP and assassin and still dont seem to move as quick as others

P90 is my favourite weapon by far although I've just unlocked the G36C and it's awesome. I fell in love with the Type 95 once I got used to the three round burst and how accurate I needed to be with it.

Perks wise I'm mostly rolling with a stealth class so something like:

P90 with Attachments (Silencer and red dot)
USP .45
Semtex
Flash bang

Perks
Blind Eye Pro
Assassin Pro
Sitrep (possibly pro, can't remember and I'll be swapping this out for Dead Silence once I've unlocked it)

Mostly run with Support Strike Package - because I like to help my team (and because I suck and die a lot)
UAV
Stealth Bomber
Escort Drop

Death streak
Final Stand (because it pisses people off and if I can survive it I get back up)


Errm think that's it, although I change around quite a lot depending on map, gun and how badly I'm doing.

I have a backup work line which is TTB ADSL2+ so I will see how that goes in comparison with the VM connection. What's the point of having the fastest Broadband in the UK (Residential) and not be able to have a decent online gaming experience!

Assassin is a must IMO. Staying of the constant UAV's is important if you want to stay alive.

LOL if people have been complaining to ISP's because they've been losing on COD.

I do have XBL ports forwarded but I will check the ones I have config'd in my router to the ones posted in those links.

I haven't actually complained to VM myself but quite a few are by the looks of it.

Also, I am not having some sort of range moment here and spitting my dummy out. I do have lag/hit detection issues but I still play the game and I don't cry if I loose, which rarely happens anyway

How many of you are experiencing lag/low frame rate issues on mw3, things like you shoot someone in the back 3-4 times then they somehow manage to kill you, lots of videos on youtube of this sort of thing, another example I have thrown a few semtex grenade and frag grenades, and they disappear in mid air (no explosion) i'm playing on ps3, my net connection isn't the best speediest.net gives 7mb download and 1mb upload, but i don't think the issues are at my end

Trying hard to get back into this but it's complete s**t tbh, 4 shots with the magnum turns into 1 on the killcam, I literally spawned within touching distance with my back to the enemy that had killed me only seconds ago wtf!!!

I'm playing domination on a map with snow / winter environment (I can't remember the name of the level) and the people that are killing me arnt even on the map. The kill cams show them beneath the floor and are invisable. There is also a truck they can get in and kill you from but you can't see them when they are in it. It's a huge flaw in the game play

I'm with VM and have no lag problems. The only issue I have is that I'm not very good, tbh.

As for the single player campaign, I thought it was excellent. Preferred it to the BF3 campaign, if I'm honest (though both were good).

Is there a group of you lot playing regular then? If so, mind if I add some of you and jump in? (xbox)

Always glitches in every game (camp rock on MW2 for example), losers exploit them but they are usually closed quite quickly.

I've had that too.

I've also thrown a flashbang and seen it explode, only to then have 2 still in my inventory. Likewise with grenades.

mine do this too, does it about 4 times. you look light /right really fast only the once. all my games on theater does this. it's bolloks when you cant even record a full game, on Black Ops you can why cant you on this and this is a newer game

Has it sunk in yet that it doesn't matter how good your connection is? You're at the mercy of the network and more importantly, other peoples connections. It's P2P FFS. You can have a 0ms ping, and if the guy you're playing against has a 500ms ping...you're both f**ked. Is it really that hard to grasp? You don't even need to know anything about networking to be able to understand it.

I'm sure there are loads of people complaining about VM (and maybe they have good reason) but there will also be lots of complaints about all ISPs. Some going back since before CoD was even invented. This is how the Internet works. You have to apply common sense to be able to filter the information you are gathering.

No, 7:30 now. Unlike the Little Boy Harphamominom who isn't allowed to play. Ever.

It's not that I don't believe you're having a problem it's just that I understand the reasons why, have tried to explain why it's happening and now...well I just don't really care anymore. If there was an unexplainable issue affecting me I might, but there isn't. It's lag, it happens. Deal with it.

Roy I get what you're saying we are all used to this 'lag' to a certain extent from all the previous cods, but this one is literally taking the piss, 80% of deaths (for me anyway) are bullshit. Just like those youtube videos.

You may get killed when you think your behind a wall or you shot him 30 times before he killed you etc etc etc.
But surely some of the kills we get, someone, somewhere is saying exactly the same thing! They could have emptied the 30rounds into you!
