Cambelt Change RS200

Got my RS200 Gordini a few days ago (what a machine!), the seller said the cambelt had been changed 2 years ago but did not have any receipts to prove it (just a and written note on a service) I will try and contact the garage to confirm but in the worst case scenario how much does a belt/pump change cost? (I know it is not going to be cheap) I am based in Kent. Cheers

A job like that would have come with an invoice, any idiot can tick a box in a service book.

It won't have been done.

Looking at around 500 give it take a few quid..

I don't think it's been done either, probably the reason it was cheaper. I'll look at the service book tomorrow and try and do some digging. If it hasn't been done,I'll have to get quotes so your saying around £500? Not as much as I thought. Cheers

Go to Two Techs in Dartford mate, very highly rated Renault specialists who i've used multiple times. I paid around £700 iirc but that was also with the dephaser pulley and about 3 years ago. I expect it to cost less now especially since the cost of the parts has gone down.
