the guy has said he will take £6600. for an 04 plate cupra tdi with 74k that seems reasonable - no?

aye thats what i thought and its just outside middlesboro as well.

74k on that engine is sod all, im just trying to find out when a cambelt change is, probably 80k, so an easy £400-500 out the wallet for that.

Clutches and boxes can go on them with stock power and not much abuse it does happen but would make me weary,

yeh, well esp after 70 odd k.

The passat gearbox for alledgedly being problematic was 100% fine, but i reckon that the extra pressure of a remap is what will shag clutches.

do you know how the 160 is reached in the pd unit edde? I know its loosely based on the 130 with bigger intercooler, but do you know anything else about the block, iv heard its a bit dated etc.

Slightly different turbo there the fmic and an intake kit which is different and air filter along with apping I think it based on the 130 bottom end not the 150 as well but not 100% sure there.
