Checklist when taking delivery of CUP

  Cup 172

Okay people.

Can somebody list everything I should be looking for apart from the obvious like scratches, repairs, functioning equipment when I collect my CUP with CC next month.

Ive seen other threads about front splitters and badges, mats and boot nets , what exactly should I be looking for.

Pictures would be nice if possible. Thanking you all in anticipation:)

I could do with knowing this too.

Splitter and badges are the obvious two, not sure about mats and net, didnt think the Cup came with them. Puncture repair foam is another essential.

Anyone else?

Dont think the Cup comes with mats and net you have to buy a special 172 for that ;)

Check for locking wheel nuts too!

The cup has a sunroof doesnt it? make sure it doesnt rattle its tits off and check for rattles in the engine compartment. check for warning lights on the display. a small problem but on the new clios, the dust caps are so sh*t that they fall off so you could check them. The dealer inspects the car before you take it anyway and should make sure that your car is taxed, has anti-freeze and wiper wash etc.

No sunroof on the Cup. Check splitter fitting and 172 cup badges. Just have a good look inside and out m8. Then enjoy yourself with it, Im sure you will!:D

Id check the interior especially. Little things like loose thread on the stiching on the seat etc could turn into a bigger problem later on.

Personally from experience. Check both pillars for cup badges, boot for repair kit (2 cans), front splitter has been fitted and general tidynes of the car.

Splitter is the plastic/rubber trim that fixes to the underside of the front bumper. They are supposed to be fitted by your dealer as part of the pre-delivery inspection however some dealers dont make a very good job of it.:)

Its been back once pre-ECU and twice post-ECU. Nothing has even been said, so either they cannot even detect it, or they can, but know its not an issue.
