I own a 172 clio sport cup reg LS52 OAC
I phoned deakership for a alternator and they are giving me options.
from what I have seen, is this the right part number?

which is a valeo A13VI300,

That part number and Veleo number is 110Amp

Thats the exchange part number, I have given the OE non exchange part number hence the price.

Marc, the Cup alternator is 75amp, not 110 like you're quoting. The number I posted is the correct number. I just bought one for my track car.

What i have done is show the OP what renault have quoted him and said its wrong. If you look you will see i have listed the 75AMP alternator below the 110AMP alt in my first post which is the correct NON EXCHANGE OE 75AMP for his car. (8200690195 @ £253.95)

You have then listed the EXCHANGE one with the correct part number of 7701499959.
And i have said you are correct with the part number and i posted 2 pictures of the them one being non exchange and exchange.

NON EXCHANGE OE 75AMP (8200690195 @ £253.95+VAT = £304.74)

EXCHANGE OE 75AMP (7701499959 @ £105.22+VAT = £126.26)

Each dealership have slightly different prices due to what discounts are on the items themselves.
I doubt that £2.00 from £124 to £126 is going to make you skint for the month

If you don't want to hand your old one back as a old surcharge unit it will be the most expensive one as you have no surcharge on it.
(NON EXCHANGE OE 75AMP 8200690195 @ £253.95+VAT = £304.74)

If you have your old unit off the car and you are handing it back into the dealership to get your surcharge it will be this one -
(EXCHANGE OE 75AMP 7701499959 @ £105.22+VAT = £126.26)

Here is my clio 182 with A/C old unit with OE part number of 8200193100

110AMP - OE Non Exchange Part Number - 8200193100 = £336.87+vat
110AMP - OE Exchange Part Number - 7711134267 = £192.80+vat
