Raised the car and and placed on axel stands this afternoon.

I wanted to get ahead and free up any potential seized bolts. As it happens after a wire brush, everything freed up nicely.

No cutting required!

Looks like everything bush wise is original, all rubber on each bush have split. Inner rack boots cracked and split also. Good job it’s all being replaced.

Both arch liners on near side and off side are undamaged which is a relief.

Removed to see if there are any issues lurking. Pleased to report all is good. Lots of s**t bottom of wing to sill which has now been removed. Will clean whole area once shocks have been removed.

Looks like I have a leak around the gearbox where the driveshaft slots into box. Any ideas what I need to replace? I was expecting the selector seal to be shagged, only a small amount of residue around the selector so dodged a bullet with that one. It doesn't stink like gearbox oil so it might be a engine leak from above.

Anyone know which arch liner screws I can use to replace current old screws? Same goes for the splitter?

I remember holding my 83yr old grans hand after she had died. She had died 3hrs earlier.

Her hand still looked younger than that.

Removed shocks and gave the arches/gearbox a good clean. Same goes for arch liners and engine tray.

Looks like the oil on gearbox has come out through the breather pipe. I suspect at some point it was over filled.

Springs arrive tomorrow so hoping to have a few hrs spare so I can build them up and fit.

Splitter and the interior pieces arrived today. Looking forward to unboxing the splitter!

Konis and eibach springs fitted today. Rears were fiddly however bolted on simply enough. Rears are supplied with their own top mounts, reused existing PMS solid mounts on the fronts.

Waiting for camber bolts to arrive but they are on so i can now remove wishbones.

Spent what it feels like a eternity getting the wishbones sorted, refitted along with everything else.

Removed bushes using this piece of kit. Worker nicely.

Old bushes looked ok tbh.

Measured how far in the bushes went for refitting. Hope i got it near on. Pressed new bushes back in the same way, in to out.

Also fitted new Meyle ball joints.

Refitted along with new genuine inner rods and boots and Lemforder rack ends.

Camber bolts arrived today so chucked those on for good measure.

Tomorrow i’ll fit the arb bushes and then remove front bumper to get rid of the oil cooler. I’ll take the opportunity to fit the splitter while the bumpers off.

Waiting for a set of pads to arrive so i can fit along with a set of discs i have in parts bin. Once they are on i can bleed the brakes and refit all the arch liners.

Getting there slowly…

Not needed on a road car, id be taking it off personally. Debatable if needed on a track car from experience too.

Oil will be too cool if no thermostatic plate.

Assuming once i take off the oil cooler block, oil filter will screw on as normal? Unsure if im missing something.

New Renault splitter fitted.

Looks the same as the original and solid. Thanks @Brigsy for the link.

Bumpers not been refitted yet as i’ll be removing the oil cooler tomorrow.

Had enough of Clio this weekend.

Jobs left to do.

- Fit discs & pads (when they arrive)
- Bleed brakes
- Fit engine mount
- Remove oil cooler
- Oil/filter change
- Check gearbox oil level
- Refit bumper & arch liners
- Fit new rear bumper light
- Fit new car mats and gearstick gator
- Sort sticky interior in the usual places

Getting there now.
