It's like the 205 GTI that I saw advertised before, it originally a 1.9 but was super chipped to a 2.0 apparently!! :rofl:

F-Yeah! More BHP (+9 according to the guide for the 172/182), faster 0-60, smooths flat spots and can also increase MPG'z (when you're not hooning it I guess)

Haha, the old resistor mod! Actually stupidly tried this on a 306 xsi 2.0 8v once, the theory seemed plausible in that it'd just up the fuel/air mix.
Didn't think that at best, that would only work when flat out! At junctions it was ridiculous, ha. Within 5 minutes I'd caused a load of back fires and made my exhaust blow...!

I love that this guy selling the clio is saying a chip has added 43bhp (as technically it's 172ps standard which is more like 169bhp?)

I actually had a play with one years ago on my 1.2 16v clio I'm ashamed to admit. Mpg hit the floor!! Took it off within 2 minutes.

214 chips = large portion a the chippy iirc. Should remove that before sale tbh.
