Clio GT Newbie :D

Hi guys and girls!
I'm going to be a new Clio GT 1.6 VVT owner, getting the car next week and can't wait!
I'm a student studying Dentistry going into my 3rd year next month.
Always loved the renaulsport clio's but as I'm a student im chuffed with the GT closest thing to it without the running costs.

I'll post some pictures of the car when I get it to show you all.

Plans I have is to get an HID kit for it and also an induction kit

Also If somebody doesn't mind what mk or phase is a 59 Clio GT?
Any other Clio GT owners?

Oh I'm from Burnham - Berkshire but I'm living in Bham for uni!

its a mk 3, mate

few GT owners on here and from whats said MPG isnt that good

Thanks Sarah for the reply, oh really - its only a 1.6 and combined figures of 40mpg - oh and I dont have a heavy right foot lol!
Couldn't find any other GT posts - the term GT or 1.6 is too short for search!

I had a GT, and sold it. Fun car's tbh.

Watch out for:
- Wiper Motor not working on full speed, just jams up
- Weird noise from the rear axel.
- Brakes getting worn out in 5 seconds.
- General faults.

Enjoy the car, though. I know I did!

So finally got my car, had to wait a while but so happy its here now.
Here some pictures of it below.

Only done just over 200 miles so still in the running in phase at the moment!
Going to keep it simple really, have taken the clio naming off the back :approve: going to get a ITG filter as i've heard good things about them.
