from meeting your OH in one.... funny stories.... roadkill stories.... sad stories (been dumped in your car)

ok i think everyone gets the picture!

i was driving down a country lane and a pigeon swooped down and was actually flying along with me but like 5 metres in front of my wind screen i was like this is soooo cool!!!

then the bird lost a bit of speed cracked off my windscreen did 20 somersaults in the air and smacked into the grill of the lorry behind me!

stayed with me for weeks that one!

I had a bike on the roof and had a bird strike, feathers everywhere!!!!

Bird came swooping down into the side of my car, bounced off only to smack into the windscreen of the car behind. Was rather amusing.

the other night i was blasting about and hit a badger!! need new splitter and a wheel liner!!lol

last august we had a blast of a meet and my exhaust surrendered and it partly fell off, we had to cut it with a large knife from the nearby kebab shop

Going down the A449 on a Saturday Night/Sunday Morning, been up to Manchester, but stayed sober as driving home!

Picture the scene, 5:30 am (sky lightening), going from Gailey Island down to the M54, rabbit on side of road, bounces out in front of me, then *BOOM* Looked in Rear view, and looked like it had exploded...Mandy (my other half) wasn't impressed..."I probably won't get to sleep now!"

I made jokes about Suicide Bunnies!!!!

i was just sitting in a car park minding my own business with both my windows down, then a pigeon flew in landed on my passenger seat i tried scaring it off but obviously scared it to much as as it flew off it shat on me then flew out my window. Bloodee pigeons wish i had run it over like some of you lads

Here's something funny.

Out with my friends, one of which has a 2.0 Fiesta ST. We got to a roundabout on the Oxford Ring Road and had to stop at the traffic lights. My friend pulled up in the lane next to mine and then the lights went green and who gets in front of who? Only my little 1.2 manages to blast off in front of my friend. He was NOT impressed by that at all. I thought it was hilarious!!

one of my neighbours went on holiday, so subsequently its cat decided to follow me about because it had nobody to talk to. it was such a cheeky b*****d. i went to go to work, opened my car door, it jumped in and sat in the passenger seat... then refused to move.

i had to coax it out of the car, do the classic "LOOK OVER THERE" distraction, sprint to my car and drive away!

I nearly had a badger last night. Im fairly sure I would of had the front bumper off if I had hit it.
There was a rabbit sat in the middle of the road so I thought I would drive over the top and it would be fine. I forgot about having a splitter fitted the day before though!

one of those astra vans tried to keep up with me...that said i wasnt exactly racing by any means but it was 07 reg and he obv thought he could swap shirts b4 the game as he was up my ring so when we went round the long left bend he tried to keep it there which was obv a mistake as he span his van and ended up facing the wrong way down the slip road

I was overtaking a lorry at about 80mph and then a phesant ran in front of me WAM this happened:

It's funny cos my local town has a Chippy called the pheasant Grille and everyone at work was saying how it was a shrine to it.

In my old 106 a sheep got in my car, honestly by mistake.

Well when I had my 172, one xmas I was off to see me old man, and I was quite keen to get there, I came off of a roundabout and hammered it, just as I was reaching 85mph the car on the inside starting to brake suddenly and I commented to my wife, "what on earth is that daft bugger doing"? then WHAM! a bloody pheasant had taken off from the verge missed him and decided to see how it would feel for it's backside to exit through his head, all over my windscreen, smashed it to bugger, and ripped of one wiper arm and bent the other, glass everywhere all over the dash, and lot's of blood running down my drivers door window! You trying getting a windscreen fitted over xmas, bloody impossible, and eventually when they did turn up to fit a new one they brought the wrong one!!

gutted..... lol it seems all the stories involve birds!!! wander whether the birds dont think they are that fast???? or..... they think to themselves well if im going to go i may as well do it in style........... dont know tho just a thought!

I was once driving down the motorway late at night in one of works new shape clios and I really had my foot down (had to it was only a 1.2) when an Astra van decided to try overtaking as I was coming up to the junction where I needed to turn off. He hadn't spotted the sign saying the motorway was closed at the next junction and ploughed through the cones set across all 3 lanes of the motorway at a fair speed. I nearly crashed laughing.... Roadworks 1 Vauxhall 0.

not my Clio story, but my sister recently moved jobs and has a lovely Edward Mellor RB Clio (lol) and these things seem to get vandalised round us all the time. Anyway, she's coming out of work one day and can see a traffic cone on her roof, but more alarmingly there's a giant turd on the windscreen... like me are kid has a bit of a dark sense of humour, so naturally she called me up reeling with laughter!
