OK only problem being I would be coming up from worthing so I was thinking of doing the full weekend and the morning on track as a treat 😂

My girls are 7 & 8 so Im wondering if this is suitable or not?
Could always stay at the travel lodge in Gainsborough if you didn't want to camp? Few of us will be staying there. Gets a bit roudy at night as there's usually a silly amount of alcohol consumed

Sometimes she pushes the boat out and stays up til 11pm... but is a bit catty the next day😂😂😂

The two of us been in bed since 8.30pm and I’m now just about to sign out.

The Mrs loves air bnb so that's always an option I just fancy a blat round the track in the morning and a road trip so I will see if she can be convinced 😁

Hi, just joined the forum after buying a VERY nice 197 trackcar (pics and spec to follow). Blyton is 25 minutes from me and will be my regular go to place for trackdays.
Then I find out a full show is to be held there, fantastic. Looking at doing the full trackday and then staying on for the evening possibly. How big is this event? Will the lunch break and in between my sessions on track give me enough time to look around?

Welcome to the club mate. Take a look at the picture threads for the past year's events. Should give you a feel for what it's like

It's more a social gathering than a car show like Trax or FCS. You'll have plenty of time to look at everyone's cars and after the track finishes there's plenty of time to meet people too.

Can I ask, full trackday booked + the Saturday entry tickets that are required, will we be able to stay on for a bit the Saturday evening? Wouldn't mind checking out the entertainment, food etc?

If you've purchased a daytime only ticket then you have access untill 6pm mate. Would need a full weekend ticket to stay beyond that as food and entertainment is only available to those who have purchased the full weekend.
Lunch is provided with your Saturday only ticket though 👍

That's a shame, I don't mind paying for food in the evening, just would of been nice to have a wonder and a chat after a full day on track.

After 6 there’s not a great deal to do other than crack open a beer and grab some food.

Why don’t you consider upgrading and staying for the evening?

Unfortunately we have to have a cut off time whereby day ticket holders have to leave the site.

The difference between the day and weekend ticket is effectively to cover the cost of running the evening, food and entertainment. Buying a weekend ticket doesn't mean you have to camp over, that part is optional, but it is required if you want to enjoy the evening food etc.

Unfortunately, if we were to offer a daytime and evening but not camping ticket too it would be far too complicated and impossible to organise.
