Well im going to put the 1.8t from my grey one into it. I put it up for sale but only thing i can think of the reason not 1 person come to look is because of the body work/ crease in the boot. Thing is it wont be a 4k car once its in a good shell. What's the plans for the new one?
Keeper i would say mate i will be shocked if i go down this route and sell it at the end.Gonna keep it? Or sell
Yeh should be keeps me busy dont it lol. Need to get me a da polisher now get it clean clean while the engine is in the grey shell and its not on the road. The inside is bang on will stay as is bar taking everything out to swap the wiring over oh ill still keep my momo wheel ao thats 1 changeHaha be worth it in the end
No mines completed lol im just going to reshell her into something oemhang about what have I missed here have we got another 1.8t build on the go?? easy fella I like it
Theres that inferno in the for sale thread that i like the sound if i can find the change before it sells. What colour u looking for now?
Tow strap ive given the lad i work with for his japcrap #because jdm. Hubs are still on atm will have to remove via wishbones until i find away of removing the alloys lol. All abit of a pain but s**t happens. I hate locking nuts horrid thingsRemoving the shafts with the hubs etc and wheels still on sounds fun! Locking wheel nuts should join the tow strap!
I dont have a welder. Cant weld for that matter should learn mindGet a nut, weld it to the top of the locking wheel nut, then remove. Just make sure your weld is strong enough.
Thats a idea i will try thanks mateI found an old socket the appropriate size, then with a small angle grinder I ground some away leaving some that lined up with the slots, worked well enough to remove them all.
Theres an actual guy that does it lol. Ideally dont want to pay as its a breaker so eats into car funds lol o dont need anything from it but the shell itself as everything will be swapped or upgraded from the grey one. £30 isnt the end of the world mindWOrse case I paid a mobile locking nut removal guy £30 to get my old ones off. Can't for the life of me find the info on him but he welded a nut on from the back of his van. He was from over your way!
Spinning collar otherwise i would of just smacked a socket over it job done. Pissed off that the lad says and swears its in the boot..... its notWhat nut does it look like? One with collar or a different style?
