I bought this off here as a bit of a basket case. But most of the car has been stripped cleaned and coated with Bilt Hamber rust products so I knew it was worth saving.

In true Dan Style, I’ve owned it 2+ years, it’s been off the road 5+ years, and I decided to get it ready for CSF just 2 weeks before the event.

Going to have a new MoT and Aircon regas tomorrow and we should be golden!

It will be the only CSF where I’ve actually driven a clio to the event, 👌🏽😂

Yeah it was a bit of a gamble. They were advertised less than 2 miles away on an MX5.
Gamble paid off I think. I love them.

I know, they’re so tired. But they’re the OG Renault London West plates so I don’t really want to get rid of them.

Genuinely looking forward to a road trip in this little thing. It’s superb fun to drive, I’ve forgotten just how epic they are.

Desperately needs a machine polish but overall happy with how this one turned out. 👌🏽

Whilst there is no denying the quality - they’re not correct. I know this because I’m a sad act and worked at that Garage from 1999 to 2007. The last 3 years of which I was their ‘RenaultSport Specialist’. (I was the only one that could put up with geeks. Because I am one)
It was a diamond, SJ Cook & Sons. And then another diamond. No Renault.
Sorry.

Well that's pi**ed on my bonfire! When I bought the registration I sent a pic of the plate I took off over (another private plate), guess I should of done my research properly instead of being lazy.

Still it's a talking point to see who the real enthusiasts are 🫣.
