Just had a bit of a GYEON spree on Cleanyourcar. Love their products, going to try their shampoo.
I use these;@Daniel
What was the odour bomb you mentioned a while back? Only ask as my girlfriend has just let rip on the couch. I jest, her brother needs one for a customers car
Put it on the drivers armrest or the rear transmission tunnel, let it off and s**t the doors. Lock the car. Don't open it for 12 hours. Thanks
50:50 using a black hex logic with Megs 205 finishing polish (applied with a DAS6). I noticed my pad started to go a little red so I stopped. Could this be previous crappy Turtle Wax Red polish stuff that could of been applied before I bought it or will it be the paint? As you can tell after a couple of passes with the 205 it made a little difference but it is still really swirled.
Single stage paint, no lacquer. Some red paints seem to almost tarnish and form a dull red layer - I remember this happening in particular to old Vauxhall models which ended up looking almost pink! I polished them and seemed to be fine although like you say, the pad turns red! I never thought to inquire actually what it was, this just reminded me!
He says he used to use him, but he isn't returning emails/calls etc so he's looking for an alternativeI could only personally recommend defined details. Gordon is imo the best of the best in central Scotland, and by such a long way, whether your mate wants to wait time wise is dependent probably.
Tell him to mention me to Gordon when chatting.
What do you want from it?Chaps ive been using AF Dressle as an interior dressing, is there anything else on the market worth giving a go as i fancy a change?
Thanks Dan.What do you want from it?
I use Trafalgar's T-sheen. Leaves a subtle finish or a super shiny one depending on how you apply it/what you prefer.
Rebels dust, easy to use. It's brilliant.
I have one cloth that's soaked in it. I just spray 3 or 4 squirts over the area and then wipe the whole panel. Thanks Dan.
I just find that unless I spray it on it doesn't give a very good finish when using a cloth.
If I do spray it on to a door panel it goes places I don't want it, like on the door rubbers but you get the over spray from it which looks crap.
However, if you do spray it on and leave it to dry then it gives a very good finish that seems to last quite a while.
I guess what I'm after is a product that works better if applied by a cloth, sometimes I just want to wipe a dash top over and not have to do everything.
Thanks for the kind offer mate. [emoji2]I have one cloth that's soaked in it. I just spray 3 or 4 squirts over the area and then wipe the whole panel.
I'd offer to send you a sample but I don't think it would last the journey. Parcel kicking Postman c***s.
Thanks for the kind offer mate. [emoji2]
I'll buy some of that stuff you said about and give it a go. [emoji106] [emoji2]
I have my old bosses Porsche Panamera hybrid to do next weekend, just didn't want to go covering everything in Dressle after cleaning the leather etc...
Megs endurance thick gel or spray?Best tyre restorer? I've got something in a bottle that I paint on with a brush and it's awesome but no idea what it's called as it's years old. I've got Megs Endurance but it doesn't seem to last very long.
Genuine question, is the carpro on the left ?CarPro Inside does this!
Cheers Kev, looks exactly like what I'm after! Got some CarPro stuff to order anyway so will most likely give that a go.CarPro Inside does this!
