Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

It also repels detergent based products like made. I used to trial g101 on my test panel. Stuff is mental.

Performance and cost because they are chemists who know how to make their products well and raw materials are actually cheap.

I think they need to make a few products a bit sexier and they will sell alot more.

Anyone use surfex HD as a wheel cleaner what's the verdict??
and is it ok to use on diamond cut wheels?

It's good, at cleaning the dirt obviously not brake dust if it's heavy. Diluted I'm sure it would be fine. The garage therapy wheel shampoo is supposed to be good.

as above. I do find it even shifts some of the brake dust from my increasingly dusty ds2500 pads. not to the extent a proper scrub does but as a quick contactless spruce on my wheels, it does a banging job

Much excite

Give me Bilt Hamber over Auto Finesse all the time.

And auto finesse built an entire company on marketing alone. Utterly genius marketing. James deserves all the credit.

BH do really good products. It's a tough balance. Gyeon/Carpo have also nailed it, product packaging etc.

Infinity Wax do good products but they have so many ltd editions and new products it's genuinely hard to keep track of what's good or not.

I think because they make everything themselves, they can tweak and change as they want, new smells or a tweak in recipe. Opposed to going years without change like some companies who resell the same stuff over and over. Not too many do different versions.

Reload and can coat updated and improved year on year where possible, tweaking the issues they had, they were welcome changes.

Infinity wax are still more simple in their make up. Wax and sprays, in comparison to some of the seriously technical coatings.
