Does my 172 cup have abs

Can anyone tell me if a 172 cup of three years old has abs.
Ive looked for the abs unit and can't se it. The master cylinder appers to have four outlets, but the fuese box has a 10 amp fuse in the abs slot.
The reson i ask is that i tryed to make it lock up an a realy wet day just this week, but all the car did was stop with no slideing in record distance.
Anyone got the answer?

No Cups have ABS.

You'd know if a Cup had ABS doing that in the wet. You haven't picked up a 172 with cup badges on have you?

when u switch the iginition on does the ABS light come on? But no cups have ABS

Thanx for the info. I didnt think it had abs. But i sh-t you not the car did not lockup when i gave it the test. Am as amased as you are. Sorry if a seem a bit thick but av anly had the car a week an am still workin it out.

did they not give abs an option like the climate on the later models.

could be a true friday car and they fitted it by mistake, lol.

they never put ABS on any of the cups

stampon the pedal harder it WILL lock (do it somewhere straight and safe!)
