EVO RECAROS IN MY RS

Just a continuation of the info thread linkage

Loving my seats has been by far the best money spent on my car so far

Direct out of an Evo 8 MR, took a bit of tinkering to get them on but over the moon with them and has made a huge difference to the car.

They are black alcantara with the red recaro emblem and the grippy shoulder pads. They are a based on the trendline used in the trophy, but have enlarged lower bolster padding.

20mm matey, but not that noticable as the whole feel of the seat changes. The height is less of a factor as the comfort and the way the seats holds you is a 100% improved. I couldn't ask for anything else tbh

You could drop another 30-40mm off the height by ditching the runners, only draw back would be being able to adjust the seats back & forth, you could still get people in & out of the back as the seats upper section winds forward enough to do so

Absoulutly great seats, if i didnt have fixed buckets the Evo MR's would be the next in line for me as the trophy recaro's are just to much £££

very nice, managed to get a pair of trophy recaros for my girlfriends cup for £400, but after driving a good 1000 miles in them, I would honestly say I wouldnt even value them as high as £400!
I'm by no means big (about 6ft tall and slim build) but I find they arent wide enough, they also give me a bad back ache even driving short distances.
The standard full fat seats are much better, although they dont look as good as the recaros, I much prefer them.
I would be interested to see what the evo recaros are like though. (Sorry for the essay!)

are you coming to the lakeside meet mate, If so I'll be there and you can have a er sit lol. Interestingly enough I used to get back ache in the standard seats lol, but these have a lot better lower back (lumbar) support so they are so much more comfortable for me.
