FAO peeps with 2.0litre valvers!

The bottom end on one of my mates valvers has gone, a garage has quoted him 800+ to put a new valver engine in, i told him hed be better of replacin it with a 2litre jobbie. Were in South London. Any quotes on pricess peeps have paid if u dont mind, and what that included?

Looking at around £4/500 to buy the Megane bottom end, if u can find 1 that is, plus ull need the ECU chip & may as well get the fast road cams & vernier pullies. Should be around 170bhp!

I luckily got old of a full engine for £300 by fluke bought it has a 1.8 then got it home cleaned it up and noticed it said F7R on the engine plate cost me about £200 for timing belt clutch gaskets and fluidstook two days to drop in. Really easy to do when you understand how.
