For Sale is our (the Fastcar teams) Honda Civic EK 1.4 that graced the cover of Fast Car Magazine a few months ago.

The car has been fully painted and rebuilt from the ground up and has a massive spec costing well over 10 grand. Built as a 'cheap insurance' staff project car for the feature and then dry-stored it has only covered 300 miles since.

The mileage on the original engine (still fitted) is ultra low it has a full Honda service history and comes with 12-month MOT and 6-months Tax.

Perfect as a cheap insurance runabout or an immaculate base for your mental engine conversion!

Believe me this Honda is absolutely immaculate inside and out, you will not find one like it in the UK. Obviously this is reflected in the price! Although it would cost double that to build from scratch.

Spec includes
Custom red Cobra sidewinders with retrimed rear bench
full Alpine install
Resprayed Championship white (black roof)
Type R lights, grille and splitter
Custom s/s exhaust
Cat 1 Alarm, immobiliser and electric window conversion
Rota wheels
Avo coilovers
Eibach LCA's camber arms etc
Alloy red, 4 branch, samco hoses and lots more engine bits

... and much, much more.

£6100
Possible Part Exchange for a Mk1 Audi TT 225

Is it a joke at that price?

Surely someone who wants a cheap insurance runaround would be looking at about a tenth of that price? :/

yeh ek9's have a seam welded chassis, which an ek3/4 and ej9 dont. thats the main chassis difference but other than that an ek9 is still distinctly different with a different engine, interior and bumpers etc
