First DSLR Pics with dirty Clio content

  Tangoed Works
Not had a chance to clean the motor for a couple of weeks now due to a minor refurb of one of my properties.

Picked up an EOS 350d last week and hadnt had a chance to start taking some snaps. Headed off to the dome in Greenwich to snap a few piccys.

Nothing too techy here, just a fisheye lens to experiment with and on manual setting. Just getting used to it ATM in prep for Le Mans this June.

Comments welcome.

nice pics. should of spent a little bit more and got the 450d:rasp:

Well this my first DSLR and im not a pro. Have to say im mighty impressed with this one, the piccy quality is amazing and I want to learn how to process the images on the PC for maximum effect.

I will get used to all the features and tecchy bit first then just get the eos 1d or something. No point in faffin about in between imo once you know what your doing.

Looks like you may have the ISO settings too high, as some of the pics look a little grainy and overexposed. Have a look. Nice motor though :D.

Yea, I think they were slightly over exposed. Iso was on 100 though. I think because it was on manual, I was just experimenting with the different shutter speeds (is that what its called?). Some on 60 some on 90 etc, need to read up a bit more.

Not sure about the grainyness though, you think the lens may need a clean?
