..picking the car up monday (full fat 172mk2), work done by GDI/AWT( details l8r). Andy has done a power run today..196hp & a shade over 180lbs torque...graph to follow hopefully courtesy of Andy. & maybe a pic of the exhaust flame trying to cook Ben? and as the saying goes on here anybody who says cams etc isnt worth it.."step away from the crack pipe" lol. looking forward to putting my foot down!

I was standing behind the car just by chance, and after the peak RPM peak load run, off the throttle and, not just a flame, but an afterburner that would embaress a skyline. And since your tailpipe is letter box'esque, it came out all wide and flat lol.

But the new cam profile worked a treat, its just so torquey.

..ta Ben, dont tempt me! no more work til next crimbo, tb's then maybe, just gona enjoy the car for a year, get some trackdays in. a basic list on mods as Andy/Ben can give a more technical explanation!(as there isnt a profile system anymore); headwork, cams, manifold/plenham fettling, smt7, viper, peco injectors, oil cooler system, full prospeed 2.5", other; KW v2, quickshift, afterburner ;-)

its a very smooth drive, torque is smooth and progressive.

the afterburner effect was deliberate.... i kinda added some fuel in a place where i would not normally be!!!! ;-)

..not long in, even in rushour i found the chance to really open her up, really pleased, torque is awsome, the power delivery is really smooth, gona give it an extensive testing on some known roads l8r, thanks guys (for the escort service to the po as well!)..nearly had your wallet Andy, can you send me the graph..i forgot that

..ya had a proper 2hr blast earlier on some good roads, well pleased with it, acceleration is great, as are the KW's, loving the 'whistling' too ;-)

..just about all the way down i think at the back, altho i have yet to play with the KW's, Andy has set them up nice, (really tested them las night on some tight bends), gone for ET45 (after much thought about ppl with 182 cup alloys on their full fats and its not far off standard offset), gona be a while b4 there on tho as im gona refurb them in gunmetal first..that and i cant afford rubber for them yet lol. (only choices were 2 shades of silver, gloss black or white, didnt want any of them). as for having a go lol, il be at some track days next year tho ;-)
