Can anyone post some links to full size shots from a DSLR (motorsport is the preference) and let me know what lens they are using? I'm really interested in what the more expensive quality optics can do. If full size is a problem just some 100% crops of a smaller area would be cool. Static shots would also be fine as I know with moving objects it's down to the operator as much as the lens alot of the time.
I'm using a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 and it's blown me away, it's a £100 lens to get me through the relatively quiet winter months but it has been great so far. I'm saving for 'better' optics next year but wondered what sort of improvement I'm likely to see, and therefore if it is really worthwhile.
Some from my 70-300mm, I know a few could be a bit sharper but they are pretty much untouched and give you an idea...
