Homebase sell a cheap awning.

Problem solved.

You don't want to be working in direct sunlight anyhow.

Sunny up in Salisbury but I can't be bothered to do mine today.

If you going to polish the car, just let the polish do the work and ditch the fairy wash, achieves little apart from being unkind on rubber seals etc.

Clay and polish will clean the paint up of any old products quite easily - if it looks like rain, panel at a time is the only way.

Wash dry, then clay a panel, polish and seal then move on to the next.

Was quite impressed with the fairy to be honest LOL. Came up rather nicely!!

Its also better because it removed all the fillers so you know exactly what your dealing with!

  A4 DTM/iceberg cup
^^^ used to use tht on my black saxo! winning method of making sure you do a half decent job of polishing

Got mine done today.

Used some of that Menz IP seemed really greasy compared to the others I have used I guess thats a good thing for greater correction.

Would not describe it was greasy the 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 versions have very very long work times compared to others.

They are! (compared to sonus polish anyway) Which takes about 10 seconds to break down completely! Was a bit of a pain to remove.

The Menz can take about 10 mins ! You really will have gone from one extreme to the other. Well lubricated would be my way of describing it.

Also work bearing in mind you need a hell of a lot less polish than with most other things when the Menzerna. Once the pad is primed you will only need one or two very small dots more polish per panel. Use to much and you will never get it to break down, when worked long enough there should be nothing hardly left to remove let alone it be a pain.

  A well built VW
Know how you feel fella, I started to do mine on Thursday , washed it and dried wet sanded the rear quarter to try and get a scratch out and the heavens opened had to give it up for the day . Managed to pc half the car on Friday 5 hours to do one side and the front god it was hard work did not even achieve full correction either but its now smooth as a baby's rse on one side and some real good beading (first time with megs#16 used to use 476s) just need time to do the other side boot and roof

I used Menz too = First time it was oozing back out the pad and splattering everwhere but you get used to how much to use, only polish i have used and see no reason to try another
