How old is it? For that price it must have something wrong with it.

its a 2000, from a garage, comes with hpi report, full mot, pre delivery inspection and parts and labour warrenty

Sounds good to me too mate. Check Engine mounts on a mk1 of that age though and ofcourse the gearbox bearings
