Have a 172ff and cup packed 182 got the same suspension set up?

is there any difference in the above cars suspension ie shock size etc as i got a set of eibachs 2nd hand that were on a 182 with cup suspension and i was told they would fit my 172 ff thing is they are clunking like f**k at the front and creaking it just doesnt feel/sound right

any insight would be much appreciated as im gonna hve to take these out again by the looks of it

Sounds like you've fitted them wrong in some way? Same springs for both mate.

cheers buddy gonna have to pull them out again my mate fitted them and he reckoned they are def in right but they shouldnt be clunking and creaking like that im sure
