I’ve got 29s front and rear in my Cayman R and in that, I couldn’t want for any more.
Yeah I've ran a lot of the other PF pads already but don't expect a huge amount from the Z Rated seeing as they are a road pad really
Actually the OEM brakes on the Cayman are probabaly it’s weakest link. The Cayman R doesn't exactly look under braked as standard so I bet it stops really well with the Padgids! What do you use on track, the Clio or the Cayman?
Got a brand new boxed set of 97s in the for sale section if you’re interested.Yea, I'll have to look up what compound I used, called them up to ask and just went with their recommendation got a feeling they were 97's but can't recall. Petty sure it still has Z's in the rear though which they described as being a good road pad. The fronts were kinder to the disks than I was expecting.

Clio lolFor what car? E46 M3? If so then yes!
They're a brilliant pad. I loved them on the DC5.I discovered this week that Hawk HP+ pads give off sparks under hard braking![]()
Contact them direct on 01768 885000 and they will take the order over the phone.Where can we get the carbotech xp8 for brembos now?
rear pads do enough to make a difference. I'm looking at whether I can use my suspension design going on my Trophy to allow more aggressive pads/bias to make them work harder still.
Ferodo DS2500Hey guys, my brembo pads are on borrowed time at the moment and been looking for alternatives for 95% road use. I am down to mintex m1144 and pbs protrack. Any other relevant options? I prefer something that bites from cold without a lot of warm up.
As I seen this has been brought up here, are the 197 rear calipers a direct swap to the clio 1*2s?
Bit of a bump but how you finding these pads?Update on the mintex 1144 for road use
Pretty happy with them, no squealing either all good
They do squeal very little sometimes, a bit unpredictable but generally when they are cold. Bite is progressive I think, not very aggressive although I need to rebuild my rear calipers soon. Dust is medium, not too much. I use the car as a daily, overall happy with them.Bit of a bump but how you finding these pads?
Squeal, bite, dust?
You had the mintex on the front, is that correct? They do squeal very little sometimes, a bit unpredictable but generally when they are cold. Yes mintex 1144 on the frontYou had the mintex on the front, is that correct?
I also fitted them on the rear and also rebuilt my rear calipers recently, the squealing has disappeared (I think it was coming from the rears). You had the mintex on the front, is that correct?
