how can you check if anti roll bar links have gone?

I'm getting a crappy knock noise when driving and go down a dip, pot hole or anything like that from the left hand side, id replaced the top mount so can't be that, i've read on here it could be the anti roll bar link? Where is this and how can i tell if it's knackered? are they easy to change? Cheers

they don't have links they have bushes

Get powerflex bushes.

lever bar, prod and poke/visually inspect - should be obvious if they're fooked

just been having a tug on the bar, i can't move it with my hand but doesn't mean to say there fooked? i guess ill get it into a garage to change all 4 of them, might as well do all of them.

also it's for a 172 cup and reading up on here the outer ones are 23mm thick and the inners are 25mm? Thanks

Have you checked balljoints and TREsfor play they will knock too if worn!

been to renault and ordered two arb bushes, they have given me these? Is this correct? 172 cup
