I’ll stick a wig on. Hot pink lipstick and they’ll think it’s a bird driving. They won’t think it’s a noisy car and won’t test me. Boom disguised. ?
 
Soo here we go again. 3rd time lucky? Maybe..

Got an oval silencer. It’s 7” wide and 24” long.
Also inserted another 2 half moon baffles in to the pipe. Hopefully this will work!
After a test, at idle Db dropped by 5db.
At 5000-5500 it hovers around 103-105 But strangely jumps to 109 as soon as you let off. Strange. Might test against my RS4. I know with valves closed it passes the test. Maybe the meter is calibrated wrong.
Anyways, will buy a Db insert just in case. And test at Bedford on the 1st.

What's it like at 4500rpm? I think you'd more likely be tested at that. Never been tested beyond 5k I don't think

In the never ending quest for loosing weight lol. Fitted a lithium battery. 2.3 kg vs 7kg for odesey.

Was testing extreme VR2 R7(front) R5(rear)
Vs 888R. And they are faster! 2.7sec faster :)

Also did a tuft test of my diffuser. Any experts in aero on here? I have no idea what to make of it lol. I suspect they are a bit too long to begin with. Vid is long. Can skip to the Center.

It does doesn’t it. But maybe tufts are too long? Idealy need flat floor on this thing.
Yes 98static. Was given a caution once when drove too close to one of the mics on WOT. So happy with that.

Very interested to know any details on the Lithium battery as I think my Odessey is shot and I will need to get something new.
I initially saw about them on Stav-tech so was going to look into it any ways.

It does indeed look turbulent under the diffuser, if it makes a slight difference its still worth it. Despite everything people downtalk about this type of stuff, if it makes any positive difference then surely its worth while

Battery is good so far. Very light. Plenty of power. Not much else I can say at this stage as only had it less than a week.

Yet to see either of the G25s make near their numbers on a 4pot. Realisticly it's a 450-500 turbo on a 4 cylinder

to be fair it's lister for 1.4-3.0L and they are american figures so even if it only makes 450-500 on a 4 pot that's still a decent figure.

plus if you're worried about figures then just go for the G42-1450.

That’s more than I plan to run through FWD anyways :) it’s not about too figures. When @bloke recommended this turbo, I did quite a bit of research and the efficiency of it is quite impressive considering the size! This new gen turbos are Awsome!

Oh yeah I'm well aware how good they are, a mate runs a 660 at 500+ on his 1.8 A3 trackcar and I had planned on putting one on my Megane, til I decided to sell it and get a V8 [emoji1787]

I shouldn’t even be timing lol. That’s my second time there. First time in a Clio. 18 laps in total. So hardly know the track. Defo room for improvement
