thats a really nice car yav got, how much u paying on insurance for it!?
£1200 fully comp for 12 months iirc! thats with 0 yrs NCB though so i shall start a new policy when it runs out in October so it should go down i hope!
elephant are being ghey though at the mo and are charging me a silly price for insurance for the rest of my policy (july aug and sept) so ive gotta pay £200 a month for the last 3 months of the policy. they said if i cancelled the policy and took out a new one (for just over £100 a month!) then i'd lose my 1 yrs NCB, so im just gonna have to pay the £200 a month for the next 3 months to get my NCB, grrr! nevermind, it's a good job i'm working now!

I thought that too. It may have only had one owner, but lots of drivers....and on track too if it is an ex RUK car. It was certainly registered in the right place. Of course not all cars with that plate were RUK cars.
Fronts tend to last around 12k so 4 new ones at 19k is nothing to worry about.
Congratulations. Lovely looking motor. :approve:
It could have been registered by Renault UK and used for shows, someones company car or on track days. It might not be the case, it's only the region in which the car was registered that made us think that. The press cars around that time had similar plates, but I'm sure the racing blue 182s were older than a 54 plate.
Even if it is, it will have been very well maintained.
congrats anni

hi gareth, ive requested a name change already
of course u can have a drive for all the times i drove yours last yr hehe, i may even race u again at FCS (....JOKE!) before we get told off again lol
The beginning letters of the reg plate are the giveaway that it's an ex renault uk car, they all begin with a H, most start out HN etc etc.
If you look on the renauly press site, you'll see what we mean.
It may only have had one female owner, but it's likely to have had a lot of drivers. I decided not to view a silver v6 because of this fact, the car I was gong to see was an ex renault fleet car, so lots of people would have driven (and probably thrashed it)
I'm not trying to annoy you or wind you up at all, but i'd get it checked out properly (by someone who knows exactly what they are looking at & looking for) before handing the money over tbh.

Really? Well my car number plate begins with HJ as its the local 'code' for around here along with 'HG' for all manufacturers?
Please elaborate....
Oh and congratulations Annie!
