Info on 172's please

Hi every 1 am a newby, here we go i not got a clio sport yet but hope to have 1 within the nexy 4-6 wks have got around 5k and after deciding against a astra gsi turbo am going for a 172 now iahve 5k and i want a facelift model now can any1 tell me a few things to look out for as i know these arent the most reliable cars, also i can imagine how fast these are my brother had a 160bhp R5 turbo which was quick can you tell me what you recon they hit the 60 mark in i keeo hearing 6sec and some say 7 cheers boys and girls jonboy (Sheffield)

You'll be lucky to find a phase 2 'facelift' for £5k mate.

yeh mate you wont be able to find one for around 5g... they say the cup models 6.7secs to 60 and full fat anput 6.9secs.

Official Renault 0-62 time for a facelift 172 was 7.2, most magazines test the RS Clios a little quicker usually around the mid to high 6's

I Looked On E Bay There Is 2 On Buy Now With 1 Around 40k And Other 60k Miles Going For 5.5k But Now Also Looked In My Local Autotrader Can Get A Decent Condition 1 For Between 5 And 6k You Just Have To Wait To Find The Right Lady.

Thats the colour i want flame red only thing is my misses wants me to learn her to drive thats why am buying the car for summat for us to do together not bad car to learn in i only had a yaris.
