Is The Market Really That Flat??

  Abarth 500 Essesse
Tax on a clio is irrelavent its only 50 quid more than it was, that isn't going to put people off buying them. IMO

nobody wants high tax cars they will all be worthless soon, got a jag 3.0 v6 on a 51 plate at work it books around 3k highest bid has been 1.5k!! lol!!!

+1

true, there was a jag thread the other day, i rekon for a £400 entry fee i.e rad tax a good weekend, nice bit of mini luxury would be the S-Type-R, 400lbft, 400bhp and dropping in price, they were £14k last year, now thre £7k and soon i rekon £4-5k would bag you one no probs if not cheaper at an auction !

i paid 210 again for 12 months of tax on my 182 2 weeks back. no point changing car every three years if you buy it outright, best to keep it for a long time.

if you must have a new car, buy a car that is going to depreciate very slowly and just finance the depreciation. that way you can have a nice new car every 2/3 years for the minimum outlay.

friend of mine has merc gl 320 4x4 with 20", sat nav, 7 seats etc, £450 pcm for 2 years. bargain!

i have been watching the market closley, Very closley. If you hunt, for around 6250-6500 you can get a 04 full fat with close to 20K on the clock.
i dont know what to say yours is worth but 'average' price i reckon is still 6500.
