i sometimes park my car on the grass verge outside my house, as do alot of other people, i found a cap on the grass ( see pics ) the writing on its says open and close in french ( big hint O but i dunno where it would be from any ideas??

hmm i dunno looks like a drain plug of some sort.

Its off the cover under the engine bay , you take it off to gain access to the sump drain plug .

gave it a clean, it is a renault part,
