Just bought a Cup!

Hi all, just traded in my vtr for a cup and will be picking it up tomorrow. Not signed anything yet, so I suppose theres still room for a bit of haggling. Any tips - how much should I really be paying for a 53 plate with 14K miles on the clock?

Also, a kind of nervous query....its silver, yet when I looked up on the clio history part of this site, it says that the only colour option on the 172 cup is mondial blue!??! Is this right!??!?

Id say you should be paying 9-10k? not too sure.

But yes they did produce some in Silver...just after climate was made available.

Cups were available in Silver. Very rare too.

You can pick up a pre reg 53 plate with delivery miles for around £10k so work down from there if I was you.

Welcome to Cliosport.

yeh theres silver ones, if your not sure just make sure it has speedline alloys, it wont have zenons, and wont have leather seats ,wont have heat reflective screen, it will have cup badges on door pillars and one cup badge on passenger dash trim, and will have larger cup spolier, and sholud have lower front cup spolier.

it should be worth upto 10k, but if its a dealer its poss more, the book price for trade is aprox 9k, dont worry to much about the price as whatever it is its alot of car for the money

Lucky to find a silver one mate they only made 90 silver 172 Cupss. Only problem is most people will think its a Cup look a like
