Kris Meeke - S1600 Clio - Donegal Rally

I had the pleasure of watching Kris Meeke in a hired S1600 Clio at the Donegal International Rally this weekend which is a round of the Irish Tarmac Championship. As far as I know, the Clio used to be driven by Miko Hiroven.

Any of you who follow the JWRC will remember Kris from a few years back when he used to drive for Citroen.

At one stage Kris was in 5th position overall which is a great achivement when you consider that he was up against WRC standard Subarus and Focus' as well as a WRC Corolla and Fabia.

Unfortunately I can't find any video clips online but I did manage to get this pic of him before he crashed out on stage 9 on Saturday afternoon.

Apparently there may be a dvd on the way of him in the Clio in this years Killarney Rally of the Lakes. Microcam had a few cameras installed in the clio so if I can ever find a copy of it I'll get it posted.
