Interesting clio. I like the exhaust idea, sadly scottish speedbumps would be a huge problem. Would be a b**ch to clean.

You seem chuffed with your car and im sure many other people admire it too, its not too my taste tho if im honest. I know plenty of people who would see say my car behind yours an like yours much more, its just how you feel about cars I guess.. My dad asks me when im adding lexus lights etc to my car, i do mods like that but he thinks they are really nice things to add.

and yes - theres a 2.0 turbo conversion in the pipeline
and no - the exhausts do not melt my tyres

I don't think it is fair to say this is "horribly modded".
Go and have a look at a few cars in Hull that have been horribly modded like the "Noddy" red and yellow Nova, and an Escort with 14" wheels and a bodykit made out of cardboard boxes.
This car is unique. It has had a fortune spent on it, which is the bit I really cannot understand. I have spent a few quid on cars before, maybe with new alloys, a bit of lowering or a new exhaust, but never thousands. It's money that - for me - could be better spent elsewhere.
Rich loves it though. He has posted it on here with an honest approach of "Love it or hate it".
I do think there are rather a lot of very harsh comments on here. Why can't you just say "I don't like it." But no, you have to have a go.
Also, the Cliosport member who gives himself the name Cliosport1 on the Barry Boys forum is a disgrace to Cliosport and should be banned for this offensive post on the forum:

I don't own a Clio anymore (well, my fiancee does... hence why I'm here) - I often wish I still had my little Cup back and would dearly love one again, but can't afford it and don't want finance! However, I am glad that I no longer really associate with a club whose members post things like that on public forums. You should be ashamed of yourself.

What the fcuk happened ...it looked awesome black ... then u decided to ruin it by spraying it with barbie glitter!!!! The "elite" front grille looks pathetic ... I cant believe how much money you spent on this ... if i was you id scrap it and start over again ... Even the 2.0l engine wouldnt make this ne better you have ruined a clio ...Shame on you!

good on you mate i think. paint job its def different, and i like it. wouldnt have necessarily done alot of it to my car but still, pretty unique and if it makes u happy. you should feel proud of the work thats been put into it. i think just as many people if not more will like it as dislike it....its just maybe not the best place for compliments for this sort of thing on CS, as im sure you know!

hmmm, Dont like it mate, I can see lots has been spent........... but in the wrong places!
The paint, and exhaust look very pricey, yet spoil the car, The exhaust makes it look too high and the paint well, makes it look dated and chavvy. I'd hazard a guess and say the price you spent on paint and the exhaust could have been spent on dropping a 2.0 in!

As said before I think it looks wicked - loads of work gone intoit and overall a top quality job - I personally agree about the light brows - would look far better without them but otherwise looks good.
