Been around these forums for a while but I'm about to start being an active member as my poor little beauty is sick at the moment.
I'm from Sydney, have a 2002 172 Sport which I love. 80,000kms and unfortunately a problem with fuel delivery.
I went to start the car yesterday and got nothing, popping the hood I saw fuel spilling and that a plastic part to the left of the fuel rail had popped off and possibly cracked apart, allowing no fuel to reach the rail.
Pushing this part back in allowed the car to start but she sounded unwell after the incident so I shut off the engine immediately.
It's the part circled in green in the below picture (borrowed from a spark plug change thread)
So I'm off to get reading and to post in the technical threads. See you round
