looking for a hd ready tele

Im after a decent hd ready tele just to put in the bedroom, to put on the wall, so prob looking for a 23" or 26". anyone know wheres the best place i can get one?i've seen a Hitachi 26" on empiredirect for £330 which looks a good price. Is there anything i should look for when buying one? Ive noticed a few on the website say digital with a tick next to it, but all of the 26" dont have it. going to be using it with a ps3 and also maybe sky or virgin media box. cheers

You need to go and watch the panel, to see if you can live with it. If you can take some of your equipment to plug into it, even better.

It's all very well someone saying this particular panel is good but, they don't have your eyes so, you may not agree with them, when you see it.

For a fairly future proof panel, you need HDMI inputs, preferably more than one if you have a PS3 etc... Ideally you'd also go for a panel that can handle 24fps video but, I'm not sure there are any 26" panels that do.
Look for 1:1 pixel mapping too as, that will mean you can turn off the scaler in the panel and result in a better picture, theoretically, making the PS3 video output even better.

As for the digital, this refers to the tuner and it's ability to decode digital TV channels. This again is desirable unless you have Sky etc...
